Apple cider vinegar, a superb liquid perfect for removing blemishes, sun burns, acne, skin irritation, black heads, dark spots, among others. A lot have been said about the importance of this drink in my previous articles, but of cause to every advantage their is a disadvantage. Apple cider vinegar has its own disadvantage when applied or taken along side certain medications or conditions. These medications and conditions would be discussed below.
DO NOT TAKE WHEN PREGNANT OR BREAST FEEDING
Apple cider vinegar is mostly raw and unpasteurized which makes it easy for bacteria to get into it. The immune system of a pregnant woman has the tendency of getting infections easily, therefore it is advisable not to take apple cider vinegar when pregnant and breast feeding as the child is still very tender.
DO NOT TAKE WHEN DIABETIC
While apple cider vinegar has its benefits, it could also cause an increase in hypoglycemia (a liver disease that occurs when the level of glucose in the blood drops below normal also known as low blood sugar) in diabetic patients.
DO NOT USE WHEN HAVING CERTAIN AILMENTS
Apple cider vinegar should be not be used when having certain ailments such as; gastroparesis, diabetes, weight loss, leg cramps, sinus problems, among others. Apple cider vinegar can cause potassium levels to fall a condition known as hypokalemia which can also cause heart arrhythmias and muscle weakness.
apple cider vinegar is still very good for the skin even with the use of these medications and those conditions.
